Former WWE diva attends No Way Out

Jun 18, 2012 - by Steve Gerweck

– Former WWE Women’s champion Madusa, who wrestled in WWE as Alundra
Blayze, was at the No Way Out pay-per-view yesterday in New Jersey. Madusa
was sitting ringside for the show and even tweeted a photo of her view
from her seat. The 48 year old was at her first WWE show since she left
the company abruptly in 1995. Madusa – real name Debrah Miceli – left WWE
under the worst circumstances, showing up on WCW Nitro in December 1995
and throwing the WWE Women’s title into a trash can live on WCW
television. The move was planned by Eric Bischoff who was battling WWE for
ratings at the time and Madusa later admitted that she regretted doing
what she did. In January of this year, she posted a video on YouTube
showing that she still had the original WWE Women’s title and said she’d
wrestle Beth Phoenix for the real title. She was recently approached by
WWE to film some interviews for the WWE Network and it appears that the
bad blood between the two parties is now a thing of the past. Madusa is
now a monster truck driver and in 2005 she became the first woman to ever
win the Monster Jam World Finals.
