Jerry McDevitt files letter regarding TNA lawsuit

WWE lawler Jerry McDevitt filed a letter with the court on 6/8 to TNA legal counsel Erika Blonquist writing the following.

“First, and as I advised you orally on the phone during our recent conference call, WWE has not solicited Ric Flair to leave TNA and enter into a contract with WWE. WWE has made no offer to Flair and has no intention of doing so. Second, as I also advised you, WWE has not solicited any other current TNA talent to repudiate their contracts and enter into a contract with WWE. WWE has no interest in current TNA talent.”

Is whistling Dixie really this hard up for publicity? WWE knows better than to mess with people under contract.

Imagine the type of lawsuits wwe and wcw could have had back in the day, those were the talent swiping days of glory.

  3. Nick says:

Strange that Matt Morgan and Ric Flair both seem to be hinting at moves whether they’ve been “solicited” or not.

This restraining order will cause problems for both men though.

The court should just order Christian to act as a mediator!

mcdevitt is a moron… he has cost wwe millions upon millions of dollars… seriously he holds out way too long before trying to settle. you have to settle first so you can just get the lawsuits out of the way and cost the company less money if you are a business lawyer. dumb.
