MMA By The Numbers: ‘The Master of Disaster’ Mike Massenzio

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has parted ways for the second time with fighter Mike Massenzio. The 29-year-old Teaneck New Jersey native has spent a combined 3-years with the UFC over two separate stints with the company. He made his UFC debut with a victory over Drew McFedries but lost his next 2-fights and was released 2-years later. The UFC brought him back in June of last year but after going 1-3 and losing his last fight by submission to Karlos Vemola, he was released again for the second time.
Mike Massenzio has been active in mixed martial arts for the last 7-years after making his debut in April of 2005. He is a wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu based competitor who has fought at both the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions. The southpaw is apart of Team Ironhorse M.M.A.. Prior to getting into mixed martial arts he was a 2-Time New Jersey High School State Wrestling Champion. Before joining the UFC he competed in the Reality Fighting, Ring Of Combat and the Combat Zone organizations. ‘The Master Of Disaster’ Mike Massenzio currently has a career record of 13-7.
