Sting admits he was close to signing with WWE

At today’s TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view conference call, “The Icon” Sting admitted that he was a 9, on scale from 1 to 10, signing with World Wrestling Entertainment prior to last year’s Wrestlemania. Sting categorized previous negotiations with Vince McMahon being a 6 or 7, but noted he was surprised that the sides did not reach an agreement, affording the Stinger an opportunity a chance to working with The Undertaker.
