    To fill the Orton gap…

  2. -J- says:

every year they get really thin on main event stars…and STILL they have virtually no one that can actually draw at main event level.

  3. Joe says:

    Wow that’s really zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

They never invest anything into Smackdown, and when something does come along they move it to Raw.

You’ve gotta give it to Cena: he’s just so reliable for WWE… He may be a bit too much in our faces a lot of the time, but WWE knows they can bank of him to be at the show every single time they need him.
And now he’s covering for all the suspended Smackdown guys. A workhorse indeed.

  5. J-Ro says:

With the divorce and other projects he’s involved with, I would just move him to SD! so he can have some extra free time.

i think theres many people that can go up to cena’s level… wwe just doesnt invest in them. cm punk to me can be that top guy, they just dont let him shine over cena at all. like the fact that cena vs laurinitus or vs kane or vs big show main events over the wwe championship bugs me greatly.

also as mentioned, if smackdown is failing its due to them moving anything good to raw. you have that brand separation that was still active a few yrs ago, have some interesting wrestlers and go live on any weekday thats not friday and smackdown would be doing good imo.

@justinblazin – they have CM Punk the limelight he is WWE Champion! He has main evented ppvs and they haven’t produced the goods, his Appearnaces on raw when checked with the ratings they fall when he is on screen some people just don’t like the guy – he doesn’t draw in an audience – maybe WWEs fault it could be he just looks like a skinny junkie (which is funny cuz he is straight edge).

At the end of the day WWE aren’t taking chances and are more concerned with merch sales than ppv buys at the moment.
