Episode 11: The Semi Finals
The show opens with Dana White and company at a Harley Davidson store in Las Vegas. They meet Son’s of Anarchy star; Theo Rossi who puts the fighters through a “motorcycle boot camp” since the winning coach and fighter gets a free custom Harley. They got to try out different bikes and look at different interchangeable options. I guess, the idea was to motive the semi finalists in order to see what they could have if they win.
Back at the house, Chris Tickle throws a water balloon at Daron Cruickshank, while he was sleeping, and it hits him below the belt. Cruickshank woke up like a bat out of hell and ran after Tickle, cornered him against the wall and fired off some punches and kicks. Tickle called him a bitch for over reacting kept making note of the fact that hitting a cast member in the house can get you kicked off the show.
Dana White assembles the cast to the UFC Training Center. Cruickshank is worried that he is about to be kicked off the show but Dana tells everyone how impressed he and FX are with the way they have conducted themselves over the course of 13 weeks. He says all of them will be fighting on the live finale except for Mike Rio, due to a rib injury, and Andy Ogle, who is medically suspended for 45 days due to his knock out loss to Al Iaquinta. Ogle says he was cleared and Dana tells him he was not and that the UFC feels he shouldn’t fight for 90 days. Ogle wanted to run away and hit something but there was no where to go. He later asked Dana if he could fight on the Nottingham, England card on September 25th and Dana said “You got it!”. Ogle was all smiles that he gets to fight in his hometown.
Team Cruz Training Session:
Cruz feels that no one in the house can do what James Vick can do with the stand up. However, he is very concerned about Vick being able to stop the takedown. They show various clips of Vick not doing well on the ground and Cruz even said to one of his coaches “Once Vick gets taken to the ground, it’s over”.
Team Faber Training Session
Michael Chiesa had a bad day at training. He had zero head movement and could not get any punches off. He is fustrated that it’s so close to the fight and he is having such a bad training session. Chiesa leaves the sparing session and says he done. Faber follows him and finds a very distraught Chiesa who is going through a world wind of emotions. Faber tells him that some of his worst training sessions were days before big fights and told him so come back out and work on his shadow boxing when he is ready.
James Vick vs. Michael Chiesa
Round 1: Vick lands a body shot and throws a couple of kicks that were checked. Chiesa throws some punches of his own but Vick counters with a punch. Chiesa is able to close in on Vick and pin him against the cage with underhooks and deliver some knees. Vick, however, is able to takedown Chiesa but they both get right back up. Vick lands a right uppercut followed by a punch to the body and a 1-2 combo. Chiesa is rocked by the punch and Vick goes for a guillotine while transitioning to full mount. He squeezes but time expires in the round.
Round 2: Chiesa comes out a lot more aggressive but James is landing a lot of punches. They are trading back and forth with some wild punches. Chiesa misses a Superman punch but takesdown Vick and positions him against the cage. Chiesa starts bombarding Vick with punches until Vick covers up and the referee stops the fight.

Team Cruz Training Session:
Pichel says he has been training as hard as he can and will do whatever it takes to win the finale. Cruz says it’s going to be close and will boil down to who throws the better strikes. Pichel says he is not here to dance and throw jabs.
Vinc Pichel vs. Al Iaquinta
Round 1: Iaquinta gets hit immediately and shoots for a single leg takedown and Pichel fights it but eventually gets taken down.
