Ric Flair finished with TNA?

While it has not been confirmed, the word going around TNA over the weekend was that WWE hall of famer Ric Flair was finished with the company. The situation is being described as an impasse between Flair and the company. Flair is receiving massive heat for recent conduct outside of the ring. Flair did not appear at two TNA Louisiana house shows as scheduled last week.

Apparently “The Nature Boy” has been acting inappropriately at drinking establishments, including being banished from the Hard Rock Cafe in Citiwalk. Reports indicate that Flair continues to fail to cover bar tabs, with the company being notified by the hotel or bar.

There has been tension between management and Flair dating months back when “The Nature Boy” was announced for the WWE Hall of Fame. The feeling internally was that Flair and WWE put TNA is a “no win situation.”

Ric still feels that he must still act like the 80’s and 90’s but forgets that he blew is money back then also. It is a shame that a true icon with so much to give to the future with wisdom will be soon doing small independent shows drunk. Wake up Ric and realize that you are in your 60’s and trying to live the old dream or are you drinking your sorrows away.

  3. Brandon says:

Hipnosis, that is all he would have to do to make money back because you and RayM407 would buy it when released lol.

  4. Matt says:

Ric Flair in WWE again soon, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! It’s hard to expect high standards from a company ran by Hogan and Bischoff.

  5. dave says:

I think he’s trying to get himself released, so he doesn’t have to break any contract himself. He obviously wants back in the WWE, after the HOF weekend.

  6. jyd jr says:

Dave i agree… why not have them fire you… A) you still get paid, B) you leave a sinking ship and C) you get to go back to the WWE…TNA screwed the pooch allowing Flair to go back to WWE for the HOF and not getting something drawn up where they still can keep Flair… I for one am happy Flair is doing this because its time for him to come back to WWE…TNA was just one of those pit stops in his Legendary Career…

  7. -J- says:

Can’t blame him, don’t want to see him wrestle anymore tho.

  8. mike says:

WOOOOOOOOOOO like he even needs TNA. Hes Ric Fn Flair. You really thin the nature boy cares about being banned from the likes of the hard rock and cares about unpaid tabs. So what if TNA fires him. Its called LEGENDS CONTRACT. Back to WWE where they will say he hasnt been near wrestling since the HOF and his retirement Raw and make no mention of the Titanic which is TNA.

  9. cold says:

love flair, but he has demons…TNA shouldn’t have allowed flair to take the stage for the HOF, i’m sorry business is business. The sooner they stop signing these “Lengends” and put some steam behind their own stars, the sooner TNA turns the corner they have been stuck on for the last few years

Good Im actually looking forward to Tna Closing down as if im counting down to my birthday haha

  12. eddie says:

Gotta love wwe marks in my opinion flair will be just like Scott hall an alcoholic he doesn’t pay bar tabs because doesn’t have money. And people saying TNA is sinking haven been saying it for over a year so doesn’t mean anything .

  13. Captain Ass says:

Eddie it sounds like you’re a TNA mark to me. Just because TNA hasn’t sunk yet doesn’t mean they won’t. Even the all mighty Carter family will realize in time what a bad investment is. They have some good talent there, I don’t deny that, but their talent is wasted in an overblown independent Federation.

  14. Mo says:

I have he takes Hogan & Bitchoff with him.

  15. McMahon says:

Good. Flair has been terrible for most of his TNA run anyway. He clearly doesn’t want to be there so they shouldn’t keep paying him to not give a damn. TNA isn’t losing anything other than a name with Flair.

  16. jon says:

Gotta love TNA marks.failing to see what the others see quite clearly. Dude hogan and bischoff are the 2 highest paid guys there, that right there, if that doesnt send alarm bells off in your delushional head about TNA and their direction, i dont know what does. Why when someone argues someones point on the IWC here, do people resort to calling people WWE MARKS, like that’s an insult or something? lol, i’m a wwe mark, are you gonna make fun of me now because i like the company that comes to my hometown every now and then and has for 25 years ive been alive?

  17. jon says:

does wwe have a hard time paying their wrestlers the money they are owed? lol nope. does tna? yup. sign of a sinking ship, actually to be a ship you need to be bigger so you are right eddie, tna isnt sinking, they are slowly yet surely losing whatever air they have left in their little dingy.

  18. eddie says:

Just because said people saying TNA is a sinking ship doesn’t make me a mark. Just tired of hiring it

  19. eddie says:

Since when is TNA not paying there wrestlers

  20. Matt says:

If they were not paying their athletes they would not have stars inking new deals….These guys have families and mouths to feed…they certainly are not going to put their bodies on the line for free..

To those saying TNA is a sinking ship..It is pretty funny how TNA the ratings stay consistent around 1.0 to 1.1 but the WWE still HAS NOT EVER been able to get back to the 6.4 and above ratings they use to be at…

So what this says is WWE is putting out product that LOST 50% of their viewership while TNA is putting out product that consistently keeps their basic foundation of followers…

Of course WWE fans do not want to hear that at all so they will spin it around …kind of like a car with its tires stuck in quick sand…

Been hearing year after year that TNA is sinking…ratings tell who has actually started the sinking and its not TNA…
