Report: John Cena files for divorce

John Cena had filed for divorce from his wife of three years. The divorce papers state that the marriage is “irretrievably broken.” Cena’s soon to be ex-wife Liz, who was his high school sweetheart, has hired Miami attorney Raymond Rafool, the same attorney that represented Linda Hogan in her divorce from Hulk Hogan, reports The Miami Herald.

Cena is reportedly worth over $18 million, and the couple has a prenuptial agreement signed in 2009, that is said to include the ability to take back all gifts and presents.

Rafool released the following statement today…

“Although it is indeed unfortunate that John Cena decided to divorce his high school sweetheart Liz Cena; particularly, after they have come so far in their lives and in his career together, Liz will and really has no choice but to pursue all of her rights and entitlements. Although Mr. Cena pushes a prenuptial agreement and that the parties have only been married for approximately 3 years, Liz Cena has always supported John Cena, even when no one else did, and stood behind him and pushed him forward to achieve their goals for the last 14 years. Sadly, divorce is not the way Liz thought her perfect love story would end.”

    Hogan didn’t have a pre-nup.

    Cena does.

If any judge allows her assets he made himself… it’s going to cause an even bigger problem. I can see the WWE on behalf of Cena filing against the judge if that happens.

A pre-nup? John Prototype Cena is a smart man. THEY did not make 18,000,000, HE made 18,000,000, and she shoulnd’t get a house or a dime……

  3. Adam says:

Hell, she doesn’t need “entitilements.” Her alimony alone (which she’ll get outside of the pre nup, is gonna be more in one month thatn most people make in their lifetime. Smart man Johnny…smart man.

He has a Pre-Nup. There’s nothing the other side can do. It’s going to really look bad on her part too since he offered her a settlement already, and she didn’t take it.
