Chris Hero injured in WWE developmental match

Kassius Ohno (formerly Chris Hero in Ring of Honor) is currently out of action due to a cervical sprain. At least word his neck was still stiff but he wrote that he was optimistic of a quick return. The injury took place at the 4/26 Florida Championship Wrestling tapings in Tampa when he was wrestling his former ROH tag team partner, Antonio Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli). He did a twisting dive onto a bunch of guys, but landed short, right in front of the pile on top of his head. He was able to get up and finish the match, but he was taken to the hospital for X-rays because of how scary it looked, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Maybe he should hit the weights and start looking like a wrestler. It worked for CM Punk

  2. justblazin says:

what does him hitting the weights have to do with anything?

  3. dave says:

Joeyb – to explain just how stupid that comment is might explode your brain.

  4. Chris Epic says:

I really hope Joey is being sarcastic or trolling, cause that doesn’t seem accurate at all.

  5. David says:

I don’t understand the hype about this guy, he’s boring in the ring… but nevertheles it is sad to hear of an injury on anyone. Nobody should sound like they wish someone harm JoeyB just because they don’t “look like a wrestler”

  6. Mike says:

Considering hero has more athletic ability and ring talent than half the current roster. Then again maybe Joey gets off to beefy guys in tights.

  7. kent says:

word, for one thing joeyb’s comment is absolutely stupid. if you hit the weights you would get beefy, obv cm punk doesnt look beefy smh

“landed short, right in front of the pile on top of his head”

Don’t matter how big you get physically you can still get whiplash aka cervical sprain, a spine is a spine.

  9. Nick says:

That sucks. May explain why Claudio is on TV without him however.
