LIVE WWE EXTREME RULES PPV COVERAGE: SHEAMUS VS. BRYAN

- Backstage, Striker interviews Daniel Bryan. Striker asks him why he thinks he has the advantage tonight. Bryan says what a stupid a question. He puts down Sheamus, and says he will become the world champion again, Yes, Yes, Yes, and as he walks away, we see AJ standing in the back.
- We re-live Wrestlemania 28, with Sheamus beating Bryan in :18 seconds.
(4) 2 out of the 3 Falls match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan
Sheamus came out with a red eighteen seconds t-shirt.
Fall one: Early submission attempt by Sheamus, but Bryan grabbed the bottom rope for the break. Bryan jumps on Sheamus from the apron on the floor, but Sheamus caught him and jammed his opponent into the security wall. On the mat, Bryan worked over Sheamus’s left arm. Falls away slam by Sheamus, but only a two count. The announcers are pointing out that Sheamus is sucking some wind. Battering ram off the top rope by Sheamus, but only a two count. Sheamus goes shoulder first into the ring post. On the outside, Bryan rams Sheamus into the ring post. As Bryan continues to kick Sheamus in the ropes, the referee tries to get a break. Bryan refuses, and gets disqualified at 14:35.
Fall two: “Yes!” Lock applied, and Sheamus is defenseless and thus declares the fall over. 1-1. Referee asks a trainer to attend to Sheamus who isn’t moving in the ring. The trainers continue to look at Sheamus, who said he is ready to continue, but struggles to get to the ropes.
Fall three: Bryan storms after Sheamus, but he hits a Brogue Kick. Sheamus slowly covers Bryan, which allows him to kick out. Bryan kicks Sheamus in the head, but Sheamus kicks out. Irish curse backbreaker by Sheamus. Brogue Kick again, and Sheamus wins the third fall at 3:58 to retain the World heavyweight title.
