Paul Bearer comments on return to WWE TV
Apr 26, 2012 - by Steve Gerweck
Paul Bearer made a surprise appearance this past Monday night on RAW, his first one since being pushed by Kane by mistake off the ladders through the floor back in an episode of Smackdown in 2010. Bearer wrote on his blog that the enjoyed being part of the show again and it was only on Saturday that he got the call to fly to Detroit for the planned angle with Orton and Kane. He said that no matter what they do to his character -buried alive, pushed off, or locked in freezer – the “father of destruction” is pretty much alive and storyline wise, the Paul Bearer character is just being treated for hypothermia following this week’s episode of RAW where he was locked in a freezer. “Will you ever see Paul Bearer on WWE programming again? Never say never…but, I wouldn’t hold my breath if I were you. My ship has virtually sailed,” Bearer wrote on his website. He added that he has no intention to return to WWE or any wrestling organization full time as he’s happy doing indy promotions, wrestling conventions, and reunions.
