Striker wishes Mathews the best on a speedy recovery and then says that there is good news. Striker says that Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins have officially been fired from NXT while Titus O’Neil and Darren Young have been drafted to SmackDown. Striker then says that there are some roster spots open on NXT and William Regal is out right now, searching for brand new talent which we may see over the course of the next few weeks. Striker brings out Regal’s hand picked match coordinator for one night only and says the man needs no introduction. Hornswoggle runs out to the ring, still dressed with a Brodus Clay jacket and jeans on. Hornswoggle tells the crowd that he can talk and Striker welcomes him back to NXT. Hornswoggle says that there won’t be any challenges or any Redemption Points. Striker says the show is his as he leaves the ring. Hornswoggle says that tonight there will be a tag team match featuring Percy Watson and Tyson Kidd facing Johnny Curtis and Michael McGillicutty. Hornswoggle then calls out Derrick Bateman, who walks to the ring saying that Hornswoggle has some sweet dance moves. Bateman says that he is happy that O’Neil and Young were drafted to SmackDown even though he beat both of them to earn a match on SmackDown that he never got. Bateman says it’s all about People Power and JTG nails him from behind before grabbing a microphone. JTG says the show is whack but used to be good when he was on every week and main eventing. JTG says Regal didn’t have the consideration to call him or text him and now he has to kiss up to Hornswoggle. JTG tells him that he wants a match and Hornswoggle asks if he really wants one as Bateman kicks JTG and tosses him over the top rope. Hornswoggle tells JTG that if he wants a match, he’s got one against Derrick Bateman right now. A referee heads into the ring as Hornswoggle leaves and we take our first break.
