Note on why Beth Phoenix dropped the Divas title

Nikki Bella’s title victory on Raw Monday night over Beth Phoenix was scheduled to happen for several weeks, reports the Wrestling Observer

WWE had planned for Kharma to win the Divas championship without beating Phoenix, thus the reason for Beth’s storyline ankle injury.
