Wrestling By The Numbers: Traci Brooks

TNA Wrestling has announced it has parted ways with long-time knockout Tracy ‘Brooks’ Brookshaw. The 36-year-old St. Marys Ontario native had spent 8-plus years working for the organization. Brookshaw’s first run within TNA began in April of 2003 and ended when she was released in March of 2010. As one of TNA’s original knockouts she had feuds with both Trinity and Desire in the early days of the company. Her largest success came as a manager for numerous superstars including Robert Roode, Michael Shane, Frankie Kazarian, Shane Douglas and others. She had other prominent roles with TNA including being TNA Director Of Authority Dusty Rhodes’ assistant, TNA Knockout Law and even had a stint as a referee. In July of 2009 it was revealed that Ms. Brooks was the first knockout in TNA history to pose for Playboy while under contract to the organization. Playboy eventually decided not to publish her photo shoot in their magazine but did release it through their Cyber Club Membership.

After being gone from TNA Wrestling for a year Tracy Brooks returned to the company for her second stint in February of 2011. She was again paired with her real life husband Frankie Kazarian and competed in the company’s knockout and knockout tag-team divisions. She was used sporadically over the past year and after months of inactivity it was announced she had parted ways with the company once again. Brookshaw’s 11-year wrestling career first started in 2001 after she was trained by both Ron Hutchinson and El Fuego. Aside from TNA Wrestling she has also worked for Ring Of Honor Wrestling, Border City Wrestling and the Apocalypse Wrestling Federation.
