“King Mo” Lawal suspended by the NSAC

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has suspended former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal (8-1) for nine months, due to his positive drug test, following his January 7 bout with Lorenz Larkin.
Lawal’s TKO win over Larkin is now a no contest. He must surrender his $15,000 win bonus and pay 30-percent of his $80,000 purse he receive Jan. 7.
