Wade Barrett update

WWE.com has learned that during Raw SuperShow’s 10-Man Battle Royal, Wade Barrett suffered a partial dislocation of his left elbow Monday night. Barrett will undergo an MRI for further evaluation in the coming days and will be out of action for at least 6 to 8 weeks.

The injury occurred following Barrett and R-Truth’s elimination from the contest. As Truth and Barrett recovered from their eliminations on the outside, Big Show tossed Dolph Ziggler on top of them from the ring. The three Superstars were knocked backwards and Barrett landed awkwardly on his arm.

  1. Joan B. in S.C. says:

At the end of the battle royal, Chris Jericho was walking around the steps towards the announce table and clearly asked the referee, “What happened to Wade?” It was at that point we were certain it wasn’t a work. That and we don’t think an angle would have been started during the middle of the battle royal.

I completely missed what happened to Wade. I saw how Doplh Ziggler’s head and neck hit the table, and thought that he might have injured his neck badly.

I love how the Crowd booed Cody when he threw Santino out on that side of the ring. Even they knew that when there is medical personnel outside of the ring you’re supposed to work the opposite side of the ring from said medics.

@Fisha695 agree with your comment on which side to use, but I think the crowd booed Cody because Santino is over big time

Perhaps this Barrett injury will be used as an angle to fire Teddy Long as SmackDown GM. Most SmackDown superstars are injured.

who cares? hopefully its carrer ending! and i was really hoping dolph was hurt! you guys need to like a real wrestler not “sports entertainer”!!!!

“who cares? hopefully its carrer ending! and i was really hoping dolph was hurt! you guys need to like a real wrestler not “sports entertainer”!!!!”

That’s a really shitty thing to say. Regardless of whether you’re a fan or not, it is reprehensible to wish that kind of injury on anyone. Combining that ignorant statement with your poor grammar and spelling leads me to one statement: Go back to your cave troglodyte.
