You can steal their signs, but you can’t take away their ability to speak.

Just another classic maneuver by the WWE to force this man down our throats.

  2. SDBland says:

but they sell CENA SUCKS shirts you can hate him if you pay WWE to hate him.

  3. Kerry says:

The WWE censorship continues… Trying to silence the WWE Universe? smh

  4. dave says:

“According to dave meltzer” not “matter of fact infallible news”

Jump off your soap boxes people. And even if true, it could be a security mistake. What if offensive signs were confiscated with bad language in areas which are on the tv side of the arena?

Until a fan, with a sign confiscated, comes out then who knows but don’t lose any sleep people.

Hahaha I’m not surprised. Linda McMahob running fot senate, yet the company her family owns cant understand the bill of rights. Freedom of Speech/Expression..

How can you guys get mad about this? Yeah it’s lame but it their show at the end of the day and they want on character to be without negative light (though the Cena Sucks shirts are an oddity) then they have every right to. “Trying to shove him down our throats”…..yeah it’s becoming a tad much but that is their product as it is now.

THey don’t have to allow any signs at all, that is not censorship, that is them saying what will and will not be seen at THEIR product.

  7. CoolCanadian says:

    @The princedann

and you clearly have no idea about the Bill of Rights, considering the WWE is not congress this doesn’t apply. The bill of rights says that congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech……to bring that up and act as if they’re hindering rights by witha sign being tkaen away at a wwe event (a peaceful assembly)is radical juxtoposition.

Why do I know more about the bill of rights than this American?

  8. -J- says:

I’m waiting for them to start filtering in “we love cena, cena’s great!” audio over the anti cena chants.

    Rise above opinions.

  9. jason says:

Agree with korey you guys are pathetic if wwe want to take away signs then its their right its their show bloody hell if your that bothered about it then go watch tna while i watch the number1 wrestling company in the world!!!

  10. Joe says:

So glad I didn’t go. No title changes, a lame finish, and the WWE wants to take away people’s free speech.

  11. Juvi says:

Jason, you must be under the age of 15 and missed the best period of wrestling ever. Have fun watching your watered down WWE and being a CenaFanGirl!!!

  12. Johnny Phoenix says:

    You’re all marks.

  13. Meh says:

Considering that WWE confiscates anti Cena sign would they also confiscate an anti Ryder sign like Rise Above Ryder if someone brought one to a WWE event?

  14. Steve says:

My Tommy Dreamer sign was confiscated mid show.

  15. jason says:

Juvi im 34 and ive watched wwe since bk in the 80s wrestling is evolved frm bk in the day but people like you are the ones who kill the wrestling buisness and girl cena? Really? are you a 15 yr old? cena works his butt off for the company more than any wrestler has done because he loves it you got to respect that if you are a fan of wrestling it may be watered down but its still the number 1 wrestling show on tv it is the mainstream if you dont like the watered down product then dont watch it no one is forcing you too…

  16. Kerry says:

The WWE puts on a show & take people’s money, then they take their signs. People pay their money to go to be entertained by the WWE, not be harassed by security over harmless signs.
