Note on how one illegal streaming site was shut down



Reuters has a story on the U.S. government shutting down several websites illegally streaming sports events, including those belonging to WWE and TNA. Yonjo Quiroa, 28, of Comstock Park, Michigan who was making thousands of dollars operating illegal stream sites, faces charges for criminal infringement of a copyright. He was busted following a Homeland Security enforcement agent posing as a WWE rep offering to purchase his domain names.

    So, they scammed him? They LIED about who they were and busted him? Blackmailing, yes…

    this is no different then cops posing as prostitutes, drug dealers and the like.
