Restaurant chain to no longer show WWE PPVs

The Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant chain is going to stop showing WWE PPV shows due to the price of the show per location being raised. The shows were reportedly around $200 to air at the restaurant, but have now been raised to $700, reports

Some locations may opt to keep showing events, but that will now be decided on an independent location basis. A call to my local Buffalo Wild Wings revealed that last night’s Royal Rumble was the first WWE PPV that had not aired in the establishment.

Could be worse, here in the UK to have Sky Sports in a pub, club, bar etc is £25,000 which is over $40,000 US

Yeah higher price for lower product, sure HD and new stages are neat but the content of the shows leaves alot to be desired.

translation’s Wrestling no longer popular and way to expensive, i think Buffalo Wild Wings would rather paid $700 bucks to carry the UFC PPVs instead becuase MMA is hot right now, not pro wrestling.

I didn’t even know BWW showed WWE PPVs. I’m gonna have to check if my local one is still showing them, if so I’ll go to have some wings and watch the show.

See what happens, WWE, when you product sucks. Sports bars no longer want to show it
