Events

In 2000, the final WCW Souled Out was held in Cincinnati, Ohio. The card had to be quickly shuffled due to injuries to Bret Hart and Jeff Jarrett in the lead up to the event. This was also the last WCW event for Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko & Chris Benoit, who would soon re-emerge in the WWF

– Oklahoma defeats Madusa to win the WCW Cruiserweight Title
– Brian Knobbs defeats Fit Finlay, Norman Smiley & Meng in a Fatal Four Way Match to retain the WCW Hardcore Title
– Kevin Nash defeats Terry Funk in a Hardcore Match to become the new WCW Commissioner
– Chris Benoit defeats Sid Vicious with Arn Anderson as special guest referee to win the vacant WCW World Title. Benoit was stripped of the title the following night

In 2005, the first TNA Final Resolution was held in Orlando, Florida

– Jeff Hardy defeats Scott Hall with Roddy Piper as special guest referee
– Monty Brown defeats Diamond Dallas Page & Kevin Nash in a 3-Way Elimination Match
– America’s Most Wanted (James Storm & Chris Harris) defeat Team Canada (Bobby Roode & Eric Young) to win the NWA Tag Team Titles
– AJ Styles defeats Petey Williams & Chris Sabin in an Ultimate X Match to win the TNA X-Division Title
– Jeff Jarrett defeats Monty Brown to retain the NWA World Title

Title Changes

1967 – Fritz von Erich defeats Joe Blanchard to win the Texas Heavyweight Title

1981 – Ernie Ladd defeats Jake Roberts to win the MSW Louisiana Title

1985 – Ted DiBiase defeats Brad Armstrong to win the MSW North American Title

1992 – Arn Anderson & Bobby Eaton defeat Ricky Steamboat & Dustin Rhodes to win the WCW Tag Team Titles

2005 – La Resistance defeat William Regal & Jonathan Coachman (subbing for the injured Eugene) to win the World Tag Team Titles

2005 – Jamal & Taiyo Kea defeat Hiroshi Tanahashi & Yutaka Yoshie to win the vacant AJPW Unified World Tag Team Titles
