    As any boss should…Your Champion was gonna take a night. Off from represnting the company to make an appearance on another fight league’s tv…if it wasn’t broadcasted I’m sure he’d still be doing it

  2. -J- says:

    Why not Vince? You obviously don’t care too much about how your company does business anymore…look at the quality of the content of your shows, nice try Punk.

    How many tines has sonnen been suspended for drug violations? Why would you want your straight edge world champ associated with him?

    @Brad Hardy
    Are you serious? Did you seriously just compare UFC and WWE, as in them both somehow being “fight leagues”???

    You can’t be serious lol

    Ones poorly acted and the others legit, BIG difference.

    Once, newjack101. Just once.

    @Durka Durr

    UFC being legit is a debatable notion to some.

    @Brad Bardy

    Fight leagues? I did laugh out loud. Sorry man but that was funny to read. I had this image of WWE and UFC coexisting in a futuristic world in the style of Tekken.

  7. Fisha695 says:

    WWE talent have shown up on UFC events many times, even been interviewed. If anything Punk being there (especially if he had the belt on him) would do nothing but bolster interest in the WWE which could lead to increased PPV Buyrates for the crappy looking (so far) Royal Rumble PPV the day after.

  8. Durka Durr says:

    Fisha, being cage side in the audience, wishing they had the skill to compete is vehemently different than walking out.

    Also, Areil Helwani’s interviews for AOL and SBNation have nothing to do with Zuffa. It’s like NY Times interviewing a candidate. Has no ties to the actual party.

    And WTF are you smoking, Dave?

  9. dave says:

    Nothing. It was the way it popped in my mind reading “fight leagues” and then saying it aloud. Not saying it was a smart idea or thought, though.
