How Flair learned the Horsemen were WWE HOF bound

The word is that Triple H called Ric Flair on Monday before Raw to inform him WWE would be inducting the Four Horsemen into the Hall of Fame, as Flair was in Orlando for the Impact tapings.

At the present, no one in TNA have commented on the subject.

Betting there was some audible “Woooooooooooooooooo” in the backstage area of TNA that night.

  2. Phillip says:

I think TNA knows that this is the move they didn’t want, nor did they expect it to happen “this soon”… The Horsemen being inducted into the HOF is the best way to get Flair to comeback…TNA couldn’t top that at all.

Like really, The 4H are the group that paved the way for every other stable, and tho Flair did jump ship and go to TNA after his “Retirement” match…you can’t have Flair in the WWE HOF twice and not have him signed to the company soon after…just would seem stupid.

  3. Jake says:

Bret was the only one who got away with the “No Compete Clause” that WWE puts on their inductees, so it is possible for Flair to show up and not have to leave TNA to do so. Now, it’s up to TNA to either let him go to the ceremony without penalty or just flat out deny him going without losing his current job.

Either way, WWE was very clear about their interest in Flair during his last run. They don’t want him as a wrestler, they don’t want him on camera, and at best he’d be a liaison doing live meet and greets and photo ops for fans. Flair going to TNA was just about earning a living to pay bills, and everyone knows it. Leaving them is just financially unsound for his current predicaments.

Flair will leave TNA and WWE will take good care of him. If Flair wants to be on TV, why not let him manage? I doubt he’d want that though.

  5. George says:

Does that mean flair will get 2 hof rings?

  6. Fisha695 says:

Flair is already in the HOF, no reason for TNA to let him go to a WWE show to participate in what is essentially just another WWE storyline.

  7. steve says:

Hello WWE goofs, he works for TNA now, why don’t you leave him alone. Like it means anything anyway, a bogus hof lol.

  8. steve says:

Where do they get the audacity to even ask someone that works for another company anyway, ego maniacs!

  9. TG says:

Steve, try decaf. It’s all bogus. Wink wink.

  10. Fisha695 says:

So since Shane took over WCW I guess this means it’s Stephs turn to show back up in TNA & take it from Dixie??

  11. Pieman says:

Flair’s going in Legends House. He’ll need the money.

  12. Joey says:

I like how WWE messes with TNA off-air. They kinda did it with Mick Foley when they promoted one of his books while he was in TNA.

  13. Hipnosis says:

….no one notices Flair is managing Gunner in TNA right now? lol

  14. Js says:

    @hipnosis who is gunner (joke)

  15. cesar says:

    flair is managing who? XD
