How long before he ends up back with the WWE? He’s going to be needing a paycheck soon.

  2. alicia says:

To be honest, i am not shocked. However, i dont think he was as ready to come back as he thought he was. He might have felt better, but his body told him tonight he wasn’t. Maybe we will see him come back to WWE :)

  3. Ronald B says:

C’mon Vinny Mac, Lesnar’s retiring! We want Taker vs Lesnar at ‘Mania!

  4. Cody T. says:

Taking all bets! Return at the Rumble or on Monday! $10 entry fee!

  5. RexAnderson says:

I said that tonight Brock would quit if he lost, and everybody looked at me like a fat man who passed gas in an elevator when the fight ended. Damn shame he quit, he has so much to learn and to give to the sport of MMA, one win or loss should never end future opportunities. This is strike 3 Brock, first WWE, then the NFL, and now MMA.

  6. Tbrent1 says:

He’s the 1-2-2012 return. The girl is sable

  7. Beast says:

    @Tbrent1 – I HOPE NOT!

  8. Joey says:

Apparently, Vince has already made the call

  9. Silent J says:

Alistair crushed Brocks guts tonight. I doubt a WM return if he is still under contract with the UFC. It would be nice to see him slap Cena around.

  10. ImAPaulHeymanGuy says:

    Well…..Here Comes The Pain!

  11. Ian says:

The reason he retired tonight is because of his sickness…he came back twice from life-threatening illness…shocked that he could take those hits to the stomach.

  12. -J- says:

    Brock Shamrock.

  13. -J- says:

    Somewhere prairie dogs are laughing.

It’d be awesome to see The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 28 instead of against Triple H AGAIN, we all remember they had an exchange of words after Lesnar’s loss to Velasquez at UFC 121 so it does add up. If not this year then sometime down the road would be great too.

  16. Ronald B says:

It would be great if he returns as a mystery character and destroy HHH to prevent him facing Taker at WM

  17. Fisha695 says:

What ever happened to the good old days when these guys used to fight 5 times a night and then even now a good 15+ years later some of them are still fighting at least once a year. Anymore it seems you have 10 fights in your career (if that) and you’re done.

I mean seriously let’s look at the numbers.

    Lesnar = 8 Fights over 4 years

Dan Severn = 125 Fights over 17 years
Jeremy Horn = 115 Fights over 15 years
Wanderlei Silva = 47 Fights over 15 years
Ken Shamrock = 44 Fights over 17 years
Heath Herring = 43 Fights over 11 years
Tim Sylvia = 37 Fights over 10 years
Frank Shamrock = 36 Fights over 15 years
Anderson Silva = 35 Fights over 14 years
Rich Franklin = 35 Fights over 12 years
Bass Rutten = 33 Fights over 13 years
Don Frye = 31 Fights over 15 years
Randy Couture = 30 Fights over 14 years
Chuck Liddell = 29 Fights over 12 years
Vitor Belfort = 29 Fights over 15 years
Tito Ortiz = 27 Fights over 14 years
Tank Abbott = 24 Fights over 14 years

  18. Amy says:

    Brock vs lesner at wrestlemania

  19. Ian says:

@Fisha…they can’t legally fight that many times in one night anymore…there is a limit to 5 rounds in one night, now that it had become a legit sport…as for the number of fights in a year…there is no need for them to fight that often because there is enough big name fighters now…if they all fought that much they would have to add a ton of cards and it would be severely saturated.

And very rarely did the fighters fight 5 times a night.

Also most of those ratios are barely 3 fights a year if you really look at them and there are a lot of guys who fight 2-3 times a year.
