Randy Savage mentioned in Time magazine

Former WWE and WCW champion Macho Man Randy Savage was mentioned in the TIME Person of the Year issue in the Fond Farewells section. The 58 year old passed away earlier this year in May after he suffered a heart attack while driving his car in Florida. WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon wrote a short piece on Savage that appeared in the following month’s TIME magazine. McMahon and Savage had a rough relationship following Macho Man’s exit from the company in the mid 90s which eventually led to McMahon banning any kind of mentioning of Macho Man on WWE television.
