Good for them. It’s also going to end up being the most returned game of 2012! It took almost 3 weeks to get the online server to work SOME of the time… the game is full of bugs… their epic RTWM is the most boring and repetitive thing in history, and downloading the free Christian attire erases most of your personal changes like tag teams.

Yeah… cracking a million isn’t impressive unless the people actually keep the game. Reviews on several websites show little kids love it… adults who are actually into in-depth video games are not enjoying it at all. Once again, my Amazon review for it ranks #1 for the 2nd year in a row… and I didn’t rate it very well at all.

So… nice figure… might keep THQ in business JUST one more year… but they had better deliver for 2013, cause there won’t be a WWE 14 if they produce another s*** pile like WWE 12!

@AJ Starr that is so true.

I personally like the game and I’m not a child. It’s not the ground breaking, revolutionary game that THQ hyped or anything, but I think it’s the best WWE games in years. I don’t play online or care about Road to Wrestlemania so that doesn’t really factor into my enjoyment. I just customize my own WWE Universe Mode and don’t allow the game to decide what matches go on. To each his own I suppose.

I had NO problems with my copy of WWE 12. Great stuff.

Maybe last year’s was better though

“You have to be impressed with the final product that Yuke’s and THQ. It’s tough to start a game completely from scratch and build it up to what you want. While there are still some modifications that need to be made for future titles, the final product for wrestling fans is one that is worthy of main event status.”

Worst Score (and yet still a ‘money-pile’ more positive and less whiny than AJ’s obnoxiously ranting hyperbolic review:
“Undoubtedly prettier and more incisive, this WWE 12 still suffers from some deep technical issues that undermine the fun. Even though the gameplay really did benefit from an added dynamism, it lost in terms of precision and variety. The matches, are less enticing and more repetitive, and sometimes chaotic when there’s more than 2 brawlers on the ring.”
