- Backstage, Jeremy Borash interviewed James Storm. He encouraged the fans to get off their seats and raise some hell. Storm tells Angle that he is sorry about his damn luck.
– We see a highlight package for Storm vs. Angle.
(6) James Storm vs. Kurt Angle. Storm clotheslined Angle out of the ring, and nailed Angle with some punches before ramming Angle’s head into the guard rail. Back in the ring, Angle delivers a series on punches on Storm on the mat, which starts a warning from referee Earl Hebner. Storm near fall on Angle at 10:52, but Angle recovers for a belly to belly suplex on Storm. Angle applies the ankle lock, but Storm was able to power out using his free leg. Angle delivers three German suplex on Storm, but only got a two count from Hebner. Eye of the Storm, but Angle kicked out of the pin fall attempt. Ankle lock applied on Stom, but Storm was able to escape. Storm snapped Angle’s neck on the outside, as both men recovered outside the ring. Angle slam, by only a two count from Hebner. Angle missed a moonsault attempt. Storm wins via the final call at 17:47.
