Survivor Series 2011 Preview and Predictions

Diva’s Championship: Beth Phoenix © vs. Eve (Lumberjill Match)
Eve’s been getting the upper hand over the Sisters of Destruction over the past couple of weeks with the addition of Alicia Fox to their little friend group, making it usually three on two. Don’t expect that momentum to translate to the actual match, considering that that every diva, heel or face will be out there apparently. Not to mention I hate Eve so freaking much.
Predicted Winner: Beth Phoenix

United States Championship: Dolph Ziggler © vs. John Morrison
This match has come about because John Morrison beat Dolph Ziggler a couple of weeks back. Apparently JoMo has his Mojo back. Which begs the question, “Where’s Zack Ryder’s title shot?” He beat Ziggler too, has been building a feud on Z!TLIS, and has a successful online petition to receive a shot. Either way, I don’t expect Ziggler will drop the title just yet, even though this is the second time he’s been double booked in two PPVs. This could lead to an interesting multi-man match perhaps consisting of Ziggler, Morrison, Ryder, and perhaps Mason Ryan and even Jack Swagger.
Predicted Winner: Dolph Ziggler

Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Barrett vs. Team Orton
This is the “We don’t have time to build all these feuds individually, so let’s throw a bunch of them in one match so we have enough time for The Rock” match. Really, all this is going to do is set up for a feud next month between Barrett and Orton.
Predicted Winner: Team Orton
Predicted Survivors: Orton & Sheamus

WWE Championship: Alberto Del Rio © vs. CM Punk
CM Punk got this match by hooking Alberto Del Rio in the Anaconda Vice to coerce ADR into giving him a title match. ADR escaped the match on Monday unscathed, so expect the opposite on Sunday. They’ll continue this in to next month at TLC.
Predicted Winner: CM Punk

World Heavyweight Championship: Mark Henry © vs. Big Show
They’ve been building this sparingly since the ring broke. They’ve had a lot of confrontations last month, but now it seems as if Henry’s been ducking Show. This one’s hard to call. On one hand, it seems as if they’ve been building Show to dethrone Henry, but on the other, they’ve been building Henry as if he can’t be dethroned. But I can’t really see any good justification for Henry winning this month. Even though they often disregard that anyway.
Predicted Winner: Big Show

NEVAR BEFOAR NEVAR AGAYN!!!1!!1: Rock & Cena vs. Awesome Truth
This is simple as can be. They aren’t going to undermine both men in their Wrestlemania Main Event in order to build R-Truth and Miz. This feud has only been a vessel to build the feud between Rock and Cena and bring them together for a match for buys. Both Rock and Cena will look strong for their match at WrestleMania.
Predicted Winners: Duh. Rock and Cena.
