– PPV opens with a 25 years of Survivor Series promo, which transitions to hyping this year’s event.

– Michael Cole welcomes us to Madison Square Garden with a sold out crowd of 16,649 fans.

– Announcers are Cole, Jerry Lawler, and Booker T

– Show opens with John Laurinaitis coming out. Laurinaitis said its his 10th anniversary with WWE, in addition to it being the 25th anniversary of Survivor Series.

(1) U.S. title match: Dolph Ziggler (with Vickie Guerrero) vs. John Morrison

Fans start the “we want Ryder” chants as the match starts off. Cole was talking about Ziggler’s college studies including political science, and Booker T asked how that will help him in the ring. Cole countered saying that Booker T doesn’t have any announce skills, but he is out there with him. Neckbreaker by Morrison, but only a two count. From Sean Banner who is attending tonight’s PPV, the crowd applauded Ziggler coming out. It appeared Morrison had Ziggler beat, but Vickie put Ziggler’s leg on the ropes. Referee Charles Robinson saw it, and ejected her from ringside at 8:40. Lots of near falls. Zig Zag by Ziggler, but Morrison kicked out. Starship pain by Morrison, but Ziggler got up his knees to block it. Second Zig Zag by Morrison, and Ziggler retains at 10:42. Vickie came back out to celebrate with Ziggler.

“Excuse me” exclaimed Vickie, and who said Ziggler had something to say. Ziggler said its not showing off if you can back it up. Fans chanted for Ryder, but Ziggler said he’s not here. Out came Ryder to the ring for a brawl. Ziggler bailed, leaving Ryder to celebrate.
