WWE wrapping up current European tour

Nov 11, 2011 - by Steve Gerweck

The long WWE European tour comes to an end tomorrow with the final two
shows – one in England and one in Germany. The Superstars and crew had a
busy two week schedule performing 21 live events in 11 days in 11 different
countries. This tour is done twice a year, usually right after WrestleMania
and in November and while it’s a very tough on everyone involved, the shows
are usually sold out and bring in a ton of money for the company due to
increased ticket prices and merchandise. Everyone will be flying to Boston
for the much awaited three hour RAW featuring the return of The Rock for the
go-home show before next Sunday’s Survivor Series. The next overseas tour
will be a very short one – a two day trip to Japan for two shows performed
by the RAW brand.
