- It was announced on Smackdown Friday night that The Rock will open Raw and announce his decision whether or not to team up with John Cena against The Miz and R-Truth at the Survivor Series.

- The preliminary buyrate for Night of Champions is said to be a bit under 200,000 buys, according to PWinsider

- It was announced on the Opie & Anthony radio show this past week that standup comedian and former WWE writer Patrice O’Neal suffered a stroke.
O’Neal, just 41, appeared last month on Comedy Central’s Charlie Sheen roast, reports Mike Aldren. His family has set up an email account to send well wishes at LoveForPatrice@gmail.com.

    this is the first wrestling news site that has mentioned Patrice O’Neal, and that he had a stroke, anyway get well Patrice, i loved you in the Player Haters Ball skit on The Chappelle Show.
