Live and theater attendance figures for TNA Bound for Glory

The 10/16 Bound for Glory PPV at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia at Temple University drew 4,000, heavily papered. TNA sold only 2,500 tickets for the show. The PPV was shown nationwide in select movie theaters on closed circuit, with only drew 2,000 people, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. We received a report from a theater in Ohio which drew about 20 people in a 143-seat facility.

Part if the reason for poor theater showing in Ohio is no one knew anything about it

In my area, the only theater was almost 25 miles away. Had it been in one of the theaters in my neighborhood, I definitely would have gone. I think it’s a good concept going back to the days of closed circuit tv for wrestling and boxing events.

Excellent. Excellent news indeed. 4000 paying customers plus peeps from the closed circuit at 40 bucks a pop. According to my calculator, that’s at leaast $1 million in revenue for the night.

Looks like TNA signed a deal with a small theater company. I live in NYC (Brooklyn to be exact), but Manhattan is no problem to get to either. 10 minutes, done. I would have watched the PPV in a theater and I expected there to be one in Manhattan but no! The nearest one is in Yonkers! I’m sure there could have been hundreds of people (if not thousands, honestly) who would have watched the show in New York, but nobody is taking a bus or regional train that could easily take an hour or longer to leave the city limits and go to a not-so-great neighborhood to watch it. So my theory: the theater company doesn’t have great reach, and is in obscure locations.

Part reason to anywhere not in the east coast movie theaters were showing it two hour delay in colorado all movie theaters were showing it at 9:30 EST time not the real start time so that could be why too

It was $15 in the Ohio theatre not 40 and I counted there and it was me and 19 other people.
