More on Brock Lesnar coming to WWE ’12

Oct 11, 2011 - by Steve Gerweck

Here. Comes. The. Pain. WWE and THQ today officially announced Brock
Lesnar as the latest Superstar to be added to the upcoming WWE video game
WWE ’12 to be released in November. This is the first time that Lesnar’s
likeness will appear on a WWE product since he left WWE after WrestleMania
XX and he is the final character to be added to the video game. “It’s one of
those things where…it’s part of my history. Without the WWE, I probably
wouldn’t be where I am today,” Lesnar told IGN. “Now after an extended
absence, he’s back….and this time, the gloves are off,” says a video
promoting Lesnar, showing him throwing punches and shots of his Death Clutch
merchandise running in between. “Here comes the pain. Only in WWE ’12,” says
the former WWE champion in the video shot specifically for the game.
Meanwhile TMZ.COM contacted Dana White for his comments about Lesnar being
featured in the game. “I love WWE and I have nothing but love for Vince
McMahon,” said White. “I’m totally OK with Brock being in the game.”
