NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS: Christian, Sheamus in-ring segment
Sep 18, 2011 - by Adam Martin
Christian makes his way out to the arena. Christian grabs a mic and says he talked to both Teddy Long and Triple H tonight. He said both are too self absorbed to do the right thing. Christian says he has been wrestling for over 17 years and he deserves one more match to become the World Heavyweight Champion. He said whoever wins the Randy Orton vs. Mark Henry match that he deserves to face the winner immediately after the match. Christian wants Buffalo to understand. “Buffalo…you've never won the Super Bowl. You probably never going to win the Super Bowl. But I have won the Super Bowl – twice,” said Christian. He asks those who agree with him to stand up and support him by saying I deserve: “one more match.” The crowd chants one more match. Sheamus' music hits and he grabs a mic. He said Christian is right about one thing: this is the night of champions. Sheamus said what it isn't is the night of crying and whining. Christian said this doesn't concern him. Sheamus said it does because he is a former world champion and he would give us “Uncle Fargas' lucky green testicle” to compete tonight for a title shot. Christian said he has the balls to say out loud that he deserves one more match. Sheamus proposes an idea: if he helps Christian get a title shot, he must promise to give him a title shot. Christian agrees. Sheamus leads the crowd in a “one more match” chant. Sheamus then takes out Christian with a Brogue Kick.
