“Yes, sir, we promised you a great main event…” The WWE video leads us into the show.

A video plays that hypes up Mark Henry. It just shows all the destruction he’s caused over the past few months, taking out guys like Big Show, Kane, and Vladimir Kozlov. This is a great video that highlights his “Hall of Pain”. It then shows his most recent inductee, World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton. Henry destroyed him after his Cage Match last week.

The Smackdown video plays and we’re brought into the arena. Josh Mathews, Michael Cole, and Booker T welcome us to the show.

Mark Henry’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Henry says he’s going to tell us about the Hall of Pain. Men have walked through these ropes, but they’ve been carried out. A lot of people think that because he’s been with this company for fifteen years that his best years are behind him. Ask Big Show and ask Kane. They have special wings in the Hall of Pain. At Night of Champions, Randy Orton is going to get inducted. In the Hall, there are broken bones, careers, and hope. The beating that he gave Randy Orton in the cage last week was the worst he ever got. Henry calls that a good start because there is more where that came from. Henry says his whole career has led him to this point. He’s more unpredictable, dangerous, and reckless then he’s ever been. He’s the World’s Strongest Man. Come Night of Champions, we’ll be looking at the new World Heavyweight Champion.

Zack Ryder, Teddy Long’s assistant, makes his way to the ring. Ryder says Henry is on a roll. Hall of Pain? Are you serious, bro? He loves it. They can be broskis. Woo, woo, woo – you know it! Henry says Ryder must have a death wish interrupting him. Ryder says as Teddy Long’s assistant, he’s here to tell Henry that he and Randy Orton will be in action tonight, but not against each other. Long made a “No Contact” rule, so if he or Randy interferes in each other’s matches, there will be problems. Ryder nervously tells everyone to take care and tries to leave, but Henry stops him.

Henry calls Ryder to the center of the ring and he reluctantly obliges. Henry thanks him for the heads up. Ryder says he’s welcome and goes to leave, but Henry stops him again. Henry says he has a question. Ryder comes back to the center of the ring. Henry asks who Ryder thinks will win at Night of Champions. Ryder says Beth Phoenix has Kelly Kelly’s number. Ryder says he can’t say Randy Orton because Henry would just kill him, so he won’t. Henry grabs him by the collar and asks if it’s true he can’t put his hands on Randy Orton. Ryder nods. Henry says he has to put his hands on somebody. Ryder thinks about that and starts punching Henry. Henry swats him down and crushes him with the World’s Strongest Slam!

Ezekiel Jackson’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring. He’ll be in action against Mark Henry next.

Randy Orton will be in action later tonight against Cody Rhodes. It’s Champion vs. Champion.

Teddy Long is on the cell phone and looking at the cover of WWE ’12, which features Randy Orton on the cover. Aksana comes in and they play the dumb saxophone music. Aksana asks if she can ring announce. Long says if she does it all the time then it won’t be special. Aksana says announcing isn’t the only thing she can do with her mouth… she can also sing. Long says he’s going to go check on Ryder and quickly leaves.

Sin Cara’s music hits and he comes out to some cheers. They show a replay of Cara beating Daniel Bryan last week and then kicking him in the head for no rhyme or reason. Sin Cara will be in action next.

Josh Mathews gets in the ring. Mathews says he doesn’t know if Sin Cara can understand him since he doesn’t speak English, but we’ve seen a more aggressive side from him. Mathews asks where that came from. Cara speaks English and says he was an intense competitor in Mexico. Since he came to the WWE, he has been held back. Cara doesn’t respect the others. Now that he’s here, nobody will stop him. Cara says this style and aggression is him, the real Sin Cara.

Daniel Bryan’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Bryan says he didn’t see Sin Cara speaking English coming. Of course, he didn’t see him kicking him in the head last week either. No matter the language, when he attacked him last week that spoke a universal language. Cara doesn’t respect him. They now have a problem that they need to rectify. Bryan’s solution is to have a rematch next week. Cara kicks him down and puts him in the LeBell Lock. It’s more of a Cripple Crossface, but the announcers call it a LeBell Lock. Charles Robinson breaks Cara off Bryan.

Christian’s music hits and he comes out to the stage. Christian says the following match has been postponed. In fact, the whole show is postponed because Teddy Long refuses to do the right thing. Last week on Raw, he was forced to compete in the main event where he was the victim of an illegal double team. Sheamus gave him a Brogue Kick and then he got an Attitude Adjustment from John Cena. Then, twenty-four hours later, he still manned up and competed in a Steel Cage Match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Sheamus’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Sheamus tells Christian to give it a rest. This is embarrassing for everyone. This reminds him of the litter of puppies his dog made one time.
