WWE News and Notes

– From Brett Buchanan: WWE has a new picture of The Rock in his ring gear, alongside John Cena and Randy Orton, on in promotion of Survivor Series.

– There is talk of bringing Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels to WWE television in the weeks leading to the release of the upcoming Hart-HBK DVD, which is coming out in November.

– Speaking of WWE TV, there is talk about the idea of season openers for Raw and Smackdown which would be 9/19 and 9/23.

– Interesting stat. If John Cena loses to Alberto Del Rio at the Night of Champions, it would be the first time he’s lost on three straight PPV shows since the summer of 2008, when he lost on three straight shows to Triple H, JBL and Batista.

  2. AL says:

Yes! WWE’s shows are unwatchable. At their best, there’s 1-2 decent matches and storylines/angles that are just about as bad as TNA’s

  4. Juvi says:

RJ, dont be such a fanboy for the wwe. It’s ok son. I guess RJ stands for “Real Jerk”.

  5. James says:

Good god. The Rock looks like a tank. Though he will probably lose some weight for his match.

  6. -Jay- says:

lmao all of you in a match at HIAC…Rock looks kinda like Farooq now in that pic.

  7. Kyle Christie says:

How exactly is there seasons for RAW and Smackdown how does that work?

  8. RJ Ace says:

Good one Juvi. I’m not a WWE fanboy at all. I like WWE, TNA, and ROH for different reasons. I actually prefer ROH to the other 2 at this point. By the way Ted, if you’re going to use another screen name, at least try not to be so obvious.
