Wrestlemania 27 buy rate adjusted again

We saw the pay-per-view numbers adjusted downward for July’s Money in the Bank, but on the flip side, the new Wrestlemania 27 figures indicate that the event generated 1,120,000 buys and 663,000 domestic, which would only trail the 2007 Wrestlemania with 1,250,000 PPV buys, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

I still cant believe that one of the worst wm’s in years still got that many ppv buys… guess the rock does sell

  2. matt says:

i agree wm27 was terrible. one of the worst ppvs ive seen, everybody bought that to see rock and taker/hhh

  3. dave says:

I can only imagine what WM 28 is going to get then.

    Rock v Cena
    Punk v HHH/Taker/SCSA/Jericho (One of those I’m 99% sure)
    Daniel Bryan cashes in.

And if Orton, Sheamus, Miz, Christian, Del Rio are all healthy and we have a good sized roster then it can only get better. –
