Wrestling By The Numbers: Donna ‘Christianello’ Alfonsi

It has been reported the long-time female wrestler Donna ‘Christianello’ Alfonsi has passed away at age 69. The Columbia South Carolina native first debuted in professional wrestling in 1963 after having been trained by The Fabulous Moolah.

Over her 28 year career Alfonsi wrestled all over the world and spent time in both World Wrestling Entertainment and the National wrestling Alliance. She was known for living with The Fabulous Moolah off and on for over 40 years and helped train many wrestlers including the late Sherri Martel.
