In Memoriam

On this day in 2005, the wrestling world lost one-time WWF Tag Team Champion Ed ‘Moondog King’ White at the age of 56. White’s mainstream wrestling career effectively ended when he was denied entry to the US from Canada in the early 80s. He continued wrestling for Canadian indies in the following years, though failing health restricted his appearances. He also unsuccessfully tried for Canadian Congress in 2000 and 2004. He suffered serious injuries in a car accident later that year, leaving him on life support until his death
