Punk comments on winning the WWE title in the Windy City

In an interview with the Chicago Sun Times, CM Punk is asked about winning the WWE title in Chicago, “I don’t have the words to explain the gravity of that situation. The love I got from Chicago was astounding. I know it sounds cliché and corny, but no words. Words couldn’t do it justice,” Punk said.
In the interview, Punk also talks about being a Chicago Cubs fan, and being unable to pull for the Chicago White Sox in the 2005 World Series.

Love that he is a TRUE fan of a team and even though the cross town Sox were in the World Series he still couldn’t cheer for them.
