Former AWA wrestler passes away

The Wrestling Observer is reporting the death of Scott LeDoux, 62. LeDoux was diagnosed with ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease in August 2008. LeDoux was a former AWA wrestler and referee, and boxed professionally in the 70’s – facing such opponents as Leon Spinks, George Foreman, and Ken Norton. LeDoux retired with a record of 33-13-4 (21 knockouts).

LeDoux later was the head of the Minnesota Combat Sports commission.
