* After today’s results Block A has four men tied on 8pts with no clear leader. Tanahashi, Makabe, Bernard, and Takayama all sit deadlocked yet with four shows remaining only one can advance to the final.
* Block B is lead by Nakamura, who like last year is on a rampage, and Minoru Suzuki, both sat on 10pts. Despite his loss to Suzuki today, Goto is still well in reach on 8pts while Kojima and MVP have work to do on 6pts.
