The Ultimate Fighting Championship has released long time fighter Joe ‘Daddy’ Stevenson. The 29-year-old Torrance California native had been with the UFC for the past 6 years after debuting in the company during The Ultimate Fighter Season 2 back in 2005.

While in the UFC, Stevenson has competed as a welterweight, lightweight and had most recently dropped down to the featherweight division. He is trained fighter in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo and Collegiate Wrestling. He broke into the world of mixed martial arts back in 1999 and previously fought at both King Of The Cage and Gladiator Challenge.
