Chris Masters comments on release

Chris Masters has issued a statement following his release from WWE today. “Obviously, I’m surprised by the move,” wrote Masters. “But I’m optimistic. I’m going to move forward and see what liesahead. I still love this business and I’m not going to give up because of this small set back. I want to explore and see what options I have for the future.” Masters was moved to the RAW roster in this year’s Supplemental Draft but was rarely used on television and instead was booked to wrestle in dark matches and on Superstars.

  1. McMahon says:

I never thought I’d say this but I hope Masters comes back and gets a big push eventually. He’s shown on Superstars that he can be a great workhorse of a wrestler. Maybe a strong run in Japan and then hopefully a return.

  2. Thomas says:

I’m sad to see Masters go. I thought he had improved a lot recently.

  3. I agree with both statements. I think that he has some very good entertainment ability as well as working ability. I just hope that eventually we see a return just like MVP both men have a huge a future in this business.
