The WWE opening promo plays.

A video package runs focusing on CM Punk and how when the clock strikes Midnight tonight, his contract with WWE is over and he will walk out with the WWE Championship.

We then get highlights of Punk’s comments against WWE, Vince McMahon and John Cena. “Say goodbye to the WWE Title. Say goodbye to John Cena. And say goodbye…to CM Punk.”

A graphic opening hits welcoming us to WWE Money in the Bank. We go live to the Allstate Arena where a huge display of pyro goes off. We see ladders setup around the ring as Michael Cole is the first to welcome us to the show. 14,815 WWE fans have sold out the show tonight in Chicago. We go to ringside with Cole, Jerry “The King” Lawler and Booker T.

* The Smackdown “Money in the Bank” ladder match is up first to kick off the show.
