I think this is JCW’s worst idea ever!

Ken Patera and Headbangers? Who on earth would consider them legends?

“The Hammer” is more like a rubber gavel now

The Piper Funk match would need a miracle!

Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing but respect for the legends (or “legends”) on this card but cards that revolve around men past their prime locking up tend to fail (Heroes of Wrestling being the most known debacle)

Maybe the workrates good enough that the card coast by on nostalgia, but I doubt it.

Piper and Funk put on an epic and highly entertaining match at the end of a battle royal at this year’s PWG Kurtrussellreunion in January. Both men can still go.

And the Headbangers can still go, which makes them handy in a match against older stars.

Interesting to see that another NWO reunion looks to be in the works as well.
