Heyman & Lesnar in talks with WWE

Dave Meltzer is reporting that Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman are in negotiations for a “return” to the WWE, although none of them will be coming back in on-air roles. AOL’s MMA reporter Ariel Helwani adds to the story that the deal between all three parties involves consumer products only and it’s said to be very close to being signed. Lesnar left WWE in 2004 while Heyman parted ways two years later. At one point last year Heyman was almost recruited by Dixie Carter to run TNA Wrestling but Heyman opted out after his demands were not met.

What? haha. can’t wait to see this. :)

  2. Bob says:

I would love to see Lesnar come back in a wwe ring, and i would love to see heyman as raw gm

  3. McMahon says:

Smart on both their ends to just say screw the disagreements, let’s make some money off of toys. No way Lesnar will actually return anytime soon (or likely ever).

  4. Steve says:

Yeah I think the others missed that McMahon. Guys this is not a deal to return on TV or in any form in person. Simply a merchandising deal likely for toys and perhaps some dort of MMa tie-ins. That would be all.

  5. Steve says:

    sort not dort sorry

  6. Sparky says:

We gonna get Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman action figures?

  7. Ryan C. says:

I wish TNA hired Heyman instead of Hogan and Bischoff. It’s so sad that a company that could’ve gone so far, decided to hire those two clowns.

  8. Agent Cooper says:

Not surprising at all about Lesnar, because his health issues seem to be permanently impacting his MMA career. And the WWE clearly wants him back given how he was mentioned in Punk’s promo and also how the Undertaker randomly showed up to his last fight.

  9. Nick says:

Look who are going to be in the next Legends based video game….

  10. Daniel says:

Oh I hope this means we’ll get Brock in future WWE videogames and even Heyman as a manager would be cool!

  11. -Jay- says:

Maybe books, DVDs, games Heyman is a smart man so it must be lucrative for both of them…wonder what Dana thinks of this.

  12. Chad says:

I hope this deal includes Sable too. Would be good to see her on a Legends deal.

  13. Steve says:

@Jay: I was wondering the same thing. I would think given his past comments he is not too happy. I don’t think he dislikes WWE but I think he wants to distance UFC and MMA in general from scripted fighting.

  14. deathedge says:

Not on air roles people!!! Paul = booker Brock =… idk…

  15. Anony-mouse says:

I just wanna see Brock return in the WWE video games as a Legend or something so i can stop making crappy lookalikes

  16. Joseph says:

    Announcer = On Air Role

  17. Heywood Jablome says:

    omg no aj

  18. Janine says:

Dixie should have met Heyman’s requests and given him anything he wanted to bring him to TNA. The guy is a wrestling organization genius and TNA….I’m sorry IMPACT wrestling would not be going into a downward spiral into the pits of hell like it is now.
