In Memoriam

One year ago today, the wrestling world lost indy tag team star Trent Acid at just 29 years old. Acid had recently been arrested for possession of heroin and had been sentenced to 23 months imprisonment. Around one month after his trial, and whilst awaiting another, he was found dead by his mother of what was later determined as a drug overdose. Several independent promotions held tributes to him, before a dedicated tribute show ‘Acid-Fest’ was held at the former ECW Arena, with proceeds going towards his funeral bills.
