Former IMPACT referee Brian Hebner talked about IMPACT not getting enough buzz after a solid PPV in Emergence and needing to be on a bigger network.

Until they figure a way to get on a bigger network. And I understand that they’re on the network of AXS TV, which is actually the owner of IMPACT Wrestling. And you know, the last I heard when I was leaving, or retiring however you want to put it, I knew that there was some shopping of networks going on at that point in time and there probably still is as we speak, but I do think if there’s a bigger network and they can be bigger as far as numbers weekly, I think they would be in that conversation that you’re asking about because of the fact of this – if they were to be as close to – meaning they AEW is as close to WWE, as if IMPACT would be as close to AEW in that same form – I think we’re talking totally different at this point right now. This conversation is not even brought up. I think they do a hell of a job on AXS TV and I think they do pretty decent numbers for the size of that network. So to me it’s about the numbers, man. It’s not about the quality of work, that’s for sure.

I’m not saying they need to get to a Spike TV type of network, as big as that, but a bigger network, and I mean, I think about this all the time. I’m thinking like what kind of network, what kind of network I mean and that’s a tough question to ask, I don’t really know what’s out there that would be something equivalent to not the, what was the Destination X, something bigger than that. Or Destination America, excuse me. You know that was a very lonely time there for us. But something bigger than AXS TV. And you know, once again, I sit here and racked my brains and think of channels and there are some man, there are some that I think would fit really well. Like something that’s big – and it’s not even that big, but it’s bigger, way bigger, and people would laugh and I’m just thinking of little things that could work for stations that want to have people watch – like the Game Show Network. To me, that would be like a perfect fit type of thing to put on a night, a weekly, wrestling show on that kind of channel. And it’s just an example of, or a small example of what I’m saying.
