Brock Lesnar Undergoes Colon Surgery



Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar underwent surgery on Friday to remove a 12-inch section of his colon, a procedure deemed necessary to address his recurring diverticulitis issues.

UFC president Dana White said on Saturday night that Lesnar’s operation was a success, that he reported feeling great afterward and that he hopes to be back by January of 2012.
