A WWE hall of famer in a state of shock over Savage’s death

WWE hall of famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat was in a state of shocker upon learning of the death of “Macho Man” Randy Savage. The two of course had one of the most famous matches in Wrestlemania history, there outstanding match for the Intercontinental championship at Wrestlemania III in Pontiac, Michigan. Steamboat admitted that the two weren’t close, but the news hit him really hard as told to the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer. Steamboat’s son had learned of the passing before it was reported, and informed “The Dragon.” Savage was notorious for keeping to himself in wrestling circles.

    Sorry it’s supposed to say:

    The Savage-Steamboat feud was one of the first things I saw when I first started watching WWF television. I remember when Randy “attacked” Ricky & hit him in the throat with the ring bell. Their matches at the time were classic.

    @ado & @Kerry

    I agree with both of you,I mean we’re still talking about it today,hence why it is a classic for all of us!

    I can watch that match a million times and never get tired of it
